This started out as a digital doodle around valentine's this year and evolved in to this interesting painting. I tried something I never tired before in this, there are no shadows in this painting only parts where the dark background shows through. It was a leaning experience, and I'm pleased with the outcome though it is a little simplistic.

I have no idea the story of these two, but being me had several thoughts on it as I was drawing it . Their positions seemed to convey different feelings and intentions. Hers express a need to be close, almost an urgency to hold her lover; While his hand braced on her arm and his head turned slightly away show a bit of reluctance but his lips are parted and eager to return her kiss. It seems a secretive passionate meeting to me, but maybe it's just my overactive imagination
